Copperize Me
Hey Everyone! These are the products I've been really enjoying this month! As you guys probably know from some of my videos, I have combination skin that tends to also be sensitive so I tend to go more for products with natural extracts, just to keep my skin from throwing a fit!
So when my workload was been keeping me up late these last few weeks, I saw it taking a toll on my eyes so I knew I had to get an eye cream for the day. I was only using an eye cream at night since last year as I never felt the need for eye creams before that. But I guess age catches up with you! Anyway, so I know I needed an eye cream for day and I headed straight for my Yves Rocher store in town. Yves Rocher's natural-based products have been one of the few brands that my skin has never reacted to. So the lady there suggested this eye cream.
I'm really enjoying it. I apply it all around my eye area and I love how the formula is moisturizing yet not greasy. The skin around my eyes really enjoys this cream and the skin feels moisturized all day and appears nice and smooth.
This next product is one that I've fallen in love with! For those of you that don't know, I'm from Fiji in the South Pacific, and my island home, like the rest of the Pacific, is full of fragrant tropical flowers! And any Pacific Islander will tell you that they can recognize the scent of any of these blooms and no matter where they are in the world, these scents just conjure images of our island homes. And that's what this scent did for me!
Another Yves Rocher find, this scent is from their Monoi range. They've had this range of products in the Tahitian Monoi range (oils, sun oils etc.) and I walked into the store 2 weeks back and saw their display of the Monoi Tahiti Eau de Toilette. I'm pretty sure it's a new addition to this range. And the scent was tiare, which is the Tahitian Gardenia that can be found all over the Pacific Islands and much-loved by us islanders. So of course I had to try it and I immediately fell in love! Yves Rocher has manged to make this scent true to the tiare flower and it smells soooo natural, not at all artificial like some scents can be. I knew I had to have it! The only problem now is that everytime I smell it, I'm nostalgic for the islands! But at the same time, it's like having a bit of home here in Switzerland :)
I showed you this next product in my Seoul Finds video, this shimmer blusher from The Face Shop which is a Korean brand. I can't stop using this blush! Swirled together, it gives the most beautiful wash of golden peachy-pink blush, sooooo perfect for my skin tone. If you have golden or yellow undertones to your skin, this blush would look beautiful on you! And it's not at all shimmery but just gives the most beautiful sheen to your cheeks that you won't need a highlighter. This brightened my face and gave me the most beautiful flush of colour. I love it!
I had been hearing good things for years about one of Australia's much-loved products, the Lucas' Papaw Ointment and I was thrilled to finally have the chance to get my hands on one. This is a great ointment. I used it on my face when I was going through a phase earlier this month where my skin was a bit out of control. I had breakouts and when I was using cleansers to treat the breakout, they would dry my skin. When I applied a light amount of this ointment, it immediately moisturized my skin but did not aggrevate it to cause more breakout. This is a antibacterial and antimicrobial ointment so it's great for any skin ailments.
Last of all, I showed you this in my Essence Cosmetics Review video. Really loving this glitter nail polish from Essence. I pair it over Jordana's Goldfinger (a previous monthly favourite) for a shimmery, nude nail look.
Ok, guys, so these are the goodies i'm LOVING this month!!! Please leave any questions below and I hope you guys are enjoying your favourite products of the month! :)
